Senior and Junior County Records
County Records are maintained for all individual short and long course events. There are separate Junior and Senior records for male and females. Junior records may only be claimed where the swimmer is under 16 years of age on the day of the swim. Conditions relating to County Records can be found in the Bedfordshire ASA Constitution (which can be accessed in the 'Executive' pages).
All claims for County Records must be made in writing, preferably by email, to the County Secretary to joan.wheeler@btinternet.com within three
months of the swim. Claims must include details of the record(s) claimed, name of meet, time recorded, date and venue of the swim and be supported by a web site reference to the official published results. Where the official results are only available in hard format, a copy of the results, signed by
the lead referee, must be submitted to support the claim.
Claims for County Records will be considered at the next meeting of Bedfordshire ASA Executive. Subject to ratification, record certificates will
be issued as soon as possible after that.
